Codex Sinaiticus Now Online

Word has already made its way around the blogosphere, but in case some have missed it, the digitization of Codex Sinaiticus–a 4th century manuscript containing the LXX and NT–has gone live online. It is a beautiful manuscript and a tremendous, free resource for textual critics and biblical scholars.  The site contains a highly interactive view and translation of the manuscript itself, as well as a very fine write-up on the history and significance of this manuscript, which, as the site rightly notes, is “immense.”
